  • It's the easiest navving going. Just follow the signs. Always good to a map of some sort as well though as there are very few places to restock on the SDW itself, but plenty of villages below the ridge.

  • How did it go and where did you sleep? I'm planning on giving this a try at some point over the summer so a recommendation on a decent spot would be good.

  • Full Disclosure: I'm going to easily be the shittest/ slowest and most dangerous rider.
Also going to bail near Brighton on day 2 as have things in London to sort out.

  • Well at least you're first aid trained

  • Not sure if I'm in, but don't worry about me. If I come I'll bivvy.

  • May be roped in to a picnic at Greenwich for the Royal Wedding instead. Against my will, obv.

  • Pretty much this. There are a few points that I'm aware of where other paths (Monarchs Way etc) cross over and you can easily drift the wrong way but you soon figure it out.

  • Also, just found this website for walks and rides.

  • Something has come up, Im out sorry :( :( :(

  • Didn't manage to in the end, but did cycle out on Saturday to where we intended to, St Benet's Abbey, for a picnic. Nice ride out, from either side of the river. Reckon it would be a great spot for a campout. Can shelter in the gatehouse if the weather turns. Mind the cows.

  • It's where he buries the bodies

  • It's where he buries the bodies

He does a good job, and my back's not up to it anymore.

  • It's more of a body pit at the abbey tbf

  • three days' time bump....anyone with a spare weekend is welcome to join!!

  • With a heavy heart I have to declare I'm unable to do this weekend :(
Bike is in a bit of a state but mainly because I have Birthday celebrations to attend in the afternoon.
Looks like great weather for it as well. Hope you all have a belter.

I know a few people are still interested but unable to do this one so maybe we can pull another one together soon.

  • Bump. Who’s on the 08:35?
Bike is ready... just need to put pedals on.
