Depending on his timings, some of the roads around the Ballinluig - Pitlochry A9 part of this route are closed on Sunday from 05-30 to 14-30 for the Etape Caledonia, so that stretch of A9 could be very busy with local traffic from the closed roads all on the A9.
Its a very busy road at this time of year anyway, and tailbacks can be common. I hope he doesn't get caught in any jams and gets most of the A9 done over night.
