Bought a really nice Victorian house in Bromley once. Went to view and the only piece of furniture in the whole place was the bed in which the old person (it was probate) had died. They had obviously been there a while before being discovered (without going into details, you could tell).
I managed 2 years there, before I forced the missus to move as I could never escape the fact that the oldie had been laying (in our bedroom) dead.
Wouldn't buy a probate (where they'd died there) again.
When people who believe in that sort of bollocks stay over, I like to tell them that the reason their room is cold is because it’s haunted (and not due to the uneven central heating).
