Get a new broker? Mike at Crystal Clear is the forum favorite.
Also leave a voicemail with L&C to say you they have forced you to look elsewhere. They might up their game when the realise they are going to lose their juicy commission.

Feel we've got to be at least close with l&c and current lender and don't imagine we'd be able to transfer our application from one broker to another. If we miss this one then yeah I won't touch those guys with a barge pole in the future and have a fairly hefty list of errors which can be proven/tracked I'll submit to their "did we do ok?" panel.

House we're trying to buy is back on Rightmove apparently. EA said "don't panic - I will delay any viewings until the tail end of next week" and allegedly even if a cash buyer comes along he said if we get our offer through they'll switch back to us but it's all 'his word' etc which I can't say fills me with confidence. "I have to be seen to be doing the best for my vendor. If it didn't go back on the market and your offer never comes through I would be accused of not working in their best interest." Chased broker and get nothing but voicemail day after day.
