It turns out that it wasn't a great idea; if you're switching from fixed to single free there's a pretty good chance you'll also want to change gear at least, and maybe tyres too. Having two pairs of wheels is a better plan.

Is there such a thing as a fixed/free double sprocket à la White Industries? That'd sort it
Or could you do something silly (more my style) and have a double 6-bolt hub, then have two rotors with the sprockets bolted outside the rotors (with spacers). Find/buy/manufacture a 6-bolt to freewheel adapter on one side. Flip the wheel to swap from fixed to free. Braking and drivetrain may be compromised and clearance and chainline would be an issue...

A ‘do it all’ bike for a 12 year old boy...
He has shown some interest in racing at some point in the future but for the moment we’re looking at a ‘holiday towpath or skidding around Asda carpark with his mates’ kind of vibe.
I keep thinking a used Cannondale bad boy (aluminium I think and has some gears and disk brakes)..

It would explain your Azure billing...

Ha, I try stay away from Azure. I think most of our cloud billing is silly because it's too easy for people to spin shit up without actually think about what is needed or if there's a more efficient way to do something. I just say "no" and wave people away -> lowers costs a lot :)

Yes I could make one myself, no I'm not going to.
So, is there a better version than this I should consider for pressing BB30 bearings in?
http://www.chainreactioncycles.com/x-tools-press-fit-bottom-bracket-installer/rp-prod155423Actually, I may have the BB30 remover from Park (https://www.evanscycles.com/park-bb30-bearing-tool-set-EV185248) so perhaps only need the threaded rod bit, but don't want to pay £50 for Park's headset installer.
Any other options I can get delivered early next week?
