Ha. didn't notice that on the plan, not very clear is it.
Door is on the landing at the top of the stairs. so basicaly an ensuite without being an ensuite. This means that guests can also use this bathroom without traipsing through my bedroom.
There's also a small skylight at the top of the stairs which makes a hell of a difference light wise.

Not done one but just bought a house with one.
This is the layout. It works well for me.
