Bought a really nice Victorian house in Bromley once. Went to view and the only piece of furniture in the whole place was the bed in which the old person (it was probate) had died. They had obviously been there a while before being discovered (without going into details, you could tell).
I managed 2 years there, before I forced the missus to move as I could never escape the fact that the oldie had been laying (in our bedroom) dead.
Wouldn't buy a probate (where they'd died there) again.

How much of a big job is this beauty - looks very fucked up but that area of Leytonstone is where we want to live and I looked at a house around the corner from it for £900k the other day (was bigger and nicer obvs).
