Yeah pretty much that ^ , but I wouldn't want to change the geo and get an actual V1 fork.
I might do this as a temporary thing at some point, like how the bike rides with the wide rims and tyres so would def want to keep it as similar as possible, disc brake works for that.

I want to get a v1 style fork made with V2 geo. Will prob do that one day when I get old and smack a disc brake on the gangsta.
