Really? I don't think the traveller community (if you insist on calling it that; a plurality would be more accurate, and I'm generally resistant to identity politics in toto, especially one which seeks to lump every follower of a particular lifestyle into a "community", when the truth is that people's community is rarely limited to followers of the same lifestyle, and even more rarely includes every follower of the said lifestyle) is ethnically homogeneous. Some travellers are descended from ethnic groups distinct from the indigenous ethnic groups of the host territory.
Are they? I thought they were a cultural group. Roma is an ethnicity, travelling is a lifestyle choice.
