The lidl ones at £80-110 are decent value.
There's a few companies online that sell reasonable ones for under £200. But don't expect to be able to run high consumption devices like drills/sanders/impact drivers or be able to paint with them. Don't produce enough lpm and make a lot of heat/moisture.
Clarke industrial /pro line are better for longevity (can get parts for them easy) but your upto around £350 for something adequate for workshop use.
I got a monster for not a lot used, had around 8-10 hours on it from new (a weeks work in a small workshop). Quite large though 45amp peak starting current needs a decent bit of wiring to power it
Has anyone any experience with compressors? Don’t want to spend the earth but do want it to be useable but not industrial. Has to go under my workbench.
