54-56 cm steel frame

  • Bought this Dawes Impulse from @clevermuscle exactly one month ago as a commuter / starter bike.

Then on Monday night a car pulls across the cycle superhighway in Whitechapel leaving me nowhere to go except splat into his front door. The down tube has buckled so the frame is a write-off, along with the handlebars. Miraculously everything else survived (the guys at Paradise Cycles were incredibly helpful in checking the bike out).

While I struggle to extract some cash from Abdul (almost certainly not his real name) I'm eager to get back on the road with a similar frame. Equally I'd be grateful for any advice on where I might source one and how much I should expect to pay. I'm probably willing to pay up for something pretty in decent condition.

  • How much are you willing to spend?

  • I have a Grandis Over Max frame size 55 I’m willing to pass to another happy owner. It’s a serious road racing frame thought.

  • Man oh man..... I am gutted to read this. I loved that bike

  • @aliinacap hope you’re ok. Let me know if you’re struggling to find a replacement. I had to store a couple of bikes at my work car park which you can borrow.... coming in from Frankfurt over the weekend

  • hi, i have a titanium frame. maybe it would be interesting for you

This would suit size wise - you could get the RD hanger sorted by Paradise Cycles and transfer all your components.

Happy to lower the price if you don't need wheels / cranks.

    And deliver to Paradise Cycles....
