If the only crack was the one shown in the first one, I'd DIY mend that some good glue and careful tightening of the bolt in the future. But the second photo looks a bit dangerous. I see two shades of white there which implies a cover up attempt. But the crack returning post cover up implies real crack.
I would't ride that, and I'm pretty gung ho.

I just got a 586 from ebay, not too sure about the state of the dropouts though.
There's a crack on the screw for the hanger, and on top there's a crack in the paint (which looks like it's touch up paint already)
Is it a bit risky?
