It's the easiest navving going. Just follow the signs. Always good to a map of some sort as well though as there are very few places to restock on the SDW itself, but plenty of villages below the ridge.

How did it go and where did you sleep? I'm planning on giving this a try at some point over the summer so a recommendation on a decent spot would be good.

Full Disclosure: I'm going to easily be the shittest/ slowest and most dangerous rider.
Also going to bail near Brighton on day 2 as have things in London to sort out. -

May be roped in to a picnic at Greenwich for the Royal Wedding instead. Against my will, obv.

Pretty much this. There are a few points that I'm aware of where other paths (Monarchs Way etc) cross over and you can easily drift the wrong way but you soon figure it out.

Didn't manage to in the end, but did cycle out on Saturday to where we intended to, St Benet's Abbey, for a picnic. Nice ride out, from either side of the river. Reckon it would be a great spot for a campout. Can shelter in the gatehouse if the weather turns. Mind the cows.

Looks like great weather for it as well. Hope you all have a belter.I know a few people are still interested but unable to do this one so maybe we can pull another one together soon.
