Thanks @TomvanHalen!
It came with a gear cable kit I bought at the Scandinavian equivalent of Decathlon called Biltema. It works really well keeping crud out of the cables. -

32x11 push me to 30km/h and it's fine.
accelerate wear on the drivetrain thought.

It's funny, your bike looks like a Genesis or a Fairdale!
The front load is cool, but isn't it to high? -

Nice bike 👌👌

Better that than worn knees. I feel his pain. Years of stupid gearing fixed has really shot my knees to shit. I run a 38t

Here ya go...
Sort of finished, but might make some changes..... I've got a pair of 29er wheels that I might bodge on. Shorter stem maybe, cotton tape over the zebra perhaps?
Anyway, parts bin special.... I'll tell you what it cost me in total in a bit!

If only I had a parts bin like that haha! Sick build, even though the suspension fork looks strange with the drop bars. How's the ride?

From @mankkamies insta
Apparently a Marin with 3.0" Wtb rangers!

The ride is lovely! I've fitted an aluminium seatpost now, as I didn't want shards and have acquired (for free) some older hope xc hubs on magic rims. They are disc hubs, but have a braking urface, so should be fine.

What size wheel?

Judging by the frame, 26".

Surprised they got the vbrake link wire over a 3" tyre.
I'm not a strong cyclist. I 've got knees problems so I can't running a long gear. 32x11 push me to 30km/h and it's fine.
