Looking for some summer sneaks, what’s the current go to, lightweight, relatively inexpensive, slip on and comfy. Think modern espadrillesque. Had some vans and liked then but didn’t get on with the lack of cushioning.

Yeah did a bit of googling and currently have a pair of the portmore and janoski’s in the basket on the nike app. Just gonna do a bit more searching and see if I can find some unloved colourways going for cheaper elsewhere..

Have you tried the ultracush from Vans? If it’s comfort you’re after I’d go for the Nike Epic React. Not the cheapest choice but so comfortable.

keep looking at the all black reacts...v nice

I'm wearing these. Won't last long looking like white though.

Yeah seen the epic reacts, like them for some reason I can’t fathom, maybe it’s the shelf of a sole at the back. But they are dollars and I’m looking for something cheapish to pull on and off when it’s too cold for flip flops, at home and on holiday.
Will check out the vans... -

Adidas munchen are my go-to summer shoes, light, around £50 or so and comfy. Nice suede as well.

Yeah not a fan of those, but have seen a couple of slip ons like these ones
https://m.adidas.co.uk/matchcourt-slip-mid-shoes/DB0887.html
On the Adidas site, which are in range, only question is how cushioned are the soles..

have seen that and have ordered them, a bit higher than I was looking for. For some reason I gravitate to mid shoes rather than lows. But I did also purchase a rather fetching pair of janoski slip ons as well. Missed out on the camo ones that fell in price and then only had them in a size that was too small for me..

Fair play on posting your training shoes. Last time I did that I got rinsed. These are my new ones.

Nice!
Just trying to avoid the laces. Since the initial inspiration was seeing some espadrilles. Got a nice rainbow pair of flyknit frees, which I love but can’t see a current version of and also don’t want to spend that big nike cash on them if they exist.
Quite like the Adidas ultraboost laceless, especially the white/pink female colourway. But again it’s a cash decision.
Will see what happens when they all arrive. -

nice loving my daft training ones needed breaking in but after a day wear so comfy.

try the Stella McCartney range at Adidas esp if you have any outlets near by

the ultra boost are silly money but got a pair and they are like bouncy slippers.
They just didn’t have the right wardrobe!
