Yeah that is suspect. I'm a small person and was told to try to get bikes that work for me using a 90mm stem cos of handling or something. But what do I know.

@punkture - But if you love your bikes and you're getting on with them why get rid of them?

My missus is maybe an inch or two taller I guess and she's on a longer top tube (or at least longer reach) and a uses a 90mm stem. But she might have long arms and @punkture is a t-rex? I'm just wary of any fit that has people ending up with 'extreme' sized stems.
