@SideshowBob can you do us a favour? Build this up with blue/green/red cables to match the colour accents so I can see if it looks shit or not.

What a great idea, How do I decide on the colours for each of the cables?

Or how about

Easy peasy.
Front brake = red. Red is for danger and blood - a reminder of the consequences of not braking.
Rear brake = green. Green represents turtles, broccoli etc.
Gear cable = royal blue. A reminder of the times when derailleur shifting was the exclusive preserve of kings and queens and barrens and that.
There's a simple rhyme:
To cable thy bike, don't get in a tizzy,
Remember these colours, as instructed by fizzy.
The brake on the front, in red we shall dress,
While ye brake of the rear is all green like some cress.
For to shift thine gear doodads, a venerable coil,
Of Jagwire steel cable with housing blue royal. -

Oh i forgot you're using STIs. The last cable must be cream.

like these wheels!

I strongly suggest you replace the QR skewers on those wheels... the levers rattle like a bastard! Nice wheels though, I've had a set for a few thousand K's. Roll really well. A fair amount of flex out of the saddle - to be expected I guess.

Hey
I just came across your build last weekend (which I like a lot) and almost simultaneously stumbled upon the right pedals in decent condition, located in Germany. And for a decent price if i consider what i had to pay for my look/saecos...
If the seller doesnt understand english i am happy to help
Cheers

Yes, common to those skewers (came standard on a few different sets of wheels).
Apparently there's a hack for it by punching or peening a pin or something, but i opted to replace them with some light skewers and save the hassle.
Honestly; they rattle loud as F, I barely lasted a ride with them! -
