Easy peasy.
Front brake = red. Red is for danger and blood - a reminder of the consequences of not braking.
Rear brake = green. Green represents turtles, broccoli etc.
Gear cable = royal blue. A reminder of the times when derailleur shifting was the exclusive preserve of kings and queens and barrens and that.
There's a simple rhyme:
To cable thy bike, don't get in a tizzy,
Remember these colours, as instructed by fizzy.
The brake on the front, in red we shall dress,
While ye brake of the rear is all green like some cress.
For to shift thine gear doodads, a venerable coil,
Of Jagwire steel cable with housing blue royal.
@SideshowBob can you do us a favour? Build this up with blue/green/red cables to match the colour accents so I can see if it looks shit or not.
