What are forum thoughts for a Carradice SQR mount on Brompton seat posts? Seem that they do a large band option which would fit? https://www.carradice.co.uk/products/saddle-fixing-systems/sqr-block-for-second-bike
I have a front block plus small briefcase bag already, and just want a small supplementary bag that I can switch between bikes easily and quickly leaving minimum stuff on the bike when not in use. I have a variety of Carradice saddlebags already and thought this might work quite well but can’t see any other examples of this online!

Depends on how long your seatpost is, with the extended one you should be fine, standard one not sure you’d be able to push the seatpost down all the way to lock the fold, with that on there.
Also need to take into account the pentaclip at the top... -

I would have loved to do this but I don’t think my Brompton will arrive on time for this event 😞

Sounds like the perfect commuter, the black series is quite tasty IMO if you’re going via the cycle to work scheme.

Anyone want to buy these?
Brompton easy wheels with Abec 7 bearings
They roll super smooth, just ordered an extra set by accident.
£15 for a pair, have two sets for sale
Have bought extra long bolts so that 2 of them can work with the rack if you take all 4

Thanks! Hadn’t seen many photos online as I don’t have an extending post. But it’s an old Brompton and I seem to have c.10cm of post to play with before I can no longer lock the fold.

Just dropped by Fudge & Sons with my voucher and booked my Brompton. Black frame with blue extensions (?) , bag front block, mudguards.
Can't wait to pick it up tomorrow morning (doubt I'll make in time today before they close)In the meanwhile rented one from the Brompton Bike Hire lockers in Turnham Green so to get ready for it tomorrow and also be able to go back to Chiswick on a Brompton rather than a slow bus stuck in traffic.

Nice colour, we just received similar at sjs, I really like the tempest blue frame/lagoon blue extremities!
Which bar / gearing you go for?
-
• #4047
Was the only colour they had in store for the setup I wanted and I loved it.
Went for 2 speeds and S type handlebars. -
