This may a good place to ask... how thin is Columbus Max tubing? Clearances on my frame are mega tight, 1mm with 25mm tyres...just took the rear wheel out to clean and discovered a patch of paint missing on my seat tube. The bare metal patch then seems to have even further wear. Could the seat tube be weakened now? Looks like this:
