  • Thanks chaps. I'm deffo investing. Looks awesomely amazing. I've done some falconry in my time and envied my birds as they swoop around in 3 dimensions. This could be my chance to see what they see.

  • You might want to check out the legal situation before sinking too much cash into anything-I seem to remember they tightened up a lot of things recently in the UK because of the number of pellets flying them into restricted air space and near misses with aircraft and there's been constant rumblings about outright banning them for hobby use.

I know that for any commercial use you're supposed to have a formal training certificate, third party insurance and written permission to be filming from any landowner you are overflying, hobby use I'm not sure but there's definite privacy issues-the national trust and some parks have banned them because again, cunts will be cunts and ruin it for everyone... I'm sure most will flout this anyway for the 'gram points.

Most places have a local radio controlled airplane club with permission to operate and I've seen a few drones being thrown around there-always looks fun and some footage is simply amazing, interested in getting one myself tbh so hope it's still permitted in a few years!
