    As my other half has been caught speeding recently, i've seen one of these in the flesh. It gets you to establish who was driving, then, depending on how many points you're on / driving record history, they send you the options. If you've previously been fairly good, you get the option of fine and points, or driver awareness course that may have a fee but waive the points.

    If you're full of points already, and have already attended the course you're more likely in bigger trouble.
