Can they deport someone who's never actually entered the UK? ;)

Looks like a punchy finish today. Would be nice to see a Stybar or Pedersen have a pop off the front.

He's Kenyan. Old school empire vibes.

Didn't Froome have a secret Strava called Luke Skywalker?
-
• #16858
Correct but I’m not the one citing national pride as a reason for getting behind a team.

Aren’t they at Imola at the Giro this year?
Also the podium girls seem to be incredibly tall this year... -

Rob Hatch is on rare form today. I've had to mute the stream.

Just seen that one of the breakaway riders' full name is Markel Irizar Aranburu - I bet he's having fun with that.
I don't know who the bloke was on the Tour of California yesterday but he sounded like he'd rather be asleep.
I think all I can tolerate is Ned 'running up the Tour de France' Boulting and David 'timed it to perfection' Millar.

great to see Bennett finally coming good today, seems he's a popular winner in the peloton, with members of other teams stopping to congratulate him!

Nice one Sammo, that was a great squeeze.

Does anyone know how Betancur lost 23s today ?

Tunnels above Praia a Mare were lit by wax torches, so presumably he stopped for birthday cake.

Crocodile garage doors
I wouldn’t buy them even if I had a garage.
Not sure about Octasense pillows either.

Crocodile garage doors
We have a garage, but a crocodile is about the only thing we haven't stored in it.

Fortunately, they have failed to make an impression. No doubt they will now penetrate my consciousness and irritate me for the next two weeks.

A few stages back I was surprised to see in the occasional Eurosport pop-up rider info tab that Betancur cited Armstrong as his "Favourite Sports Legend". Curiously, two years ago it was Valverde. In his, Chaves cited helping kids as his "Interests and Passions". What a guy hey

Nicely taken by Carapaz. Young rider now 8th in the overall and a place above Froome-not too shabby.

Froome stacking it again doesn't bode well, hit the same side he fell on before the Prologue.
And British Team Sky has only Froome to count as a Brit who, due to his current troubles, will presumably be counted as a Kenyan or South African once more.
