So I'm thinking about some better disc wheels for my Mason and wondered about Carbon - any recommendations?
As far as I can see there's a huge gap between Hunt / light bicycle level of quality, and Enve / knight composites type stuff - plus a surprising number of quite heavy but not that cheap wheels out there. Which way would people go?
Or do I just go fancier alloy and go Hed Ardennes / Belgiums?
I want tubeless ready and disc brake; I already have 2 sets of hunt alloy wheels which I have no real complaints with, just not sure if I should look further afield
Are you mistaking quality for price? Enve quality isn't anything special, you just pay for US manufacturing costs. There are voids in a dissected Enve rim same as the cheapest Chinese rims. Light Bicycle rims are really very, very good value.
