Poundworld has off-brand SPD-SL cleats.
Shelf said £1, till said £3, staff sorted it for the £1.
Far as I can work out, some pedals aren't compatible, where the rear part is a bit thicker?
Noticed the same from them straight outta China. They work fine with off-brand pedals and even DA/Ultegra but not 105.....?!
I have an unused pack of Wiggle SPD-SL and they look identical on the form at the back so a bit lost at the pedal incompatibility.
Edit: just checked. Seems to be to do with the 'wings' on the side of the rear clip of the pedal. They are way wider and fatter on these particular 105 pedals compared to the other pedals.
I think it’s pot luck if your pedals are compatible. Still haven’t finished putting them onto the shoes, mostly cos the spare-spare pedals need the big allen key on the cranks.
Last time I had a pair out of China they wore down quick on the contact points to the ground, but for pennies who cares?
