@cheekysnaker...I'm planning on doing the the Eager Beaver, but with a geared bike. I didn't realize there was a single speed category until looking at the website and last years results just now. I've heard there are some wicked long steep climbs in the first third of that race. With a 42/17 gear, I'd have to do some walking. Any advice is welcome.
