Not quite. My problem is work has been done but not to my taste, so I don’t want to pay for that work and to pay to re do it. I’m not after a total wreck just somewhere with original features and nothing extra I don’t want. The 70’s really took their toll on Walthamstow too...

The problem is that most people would say yeh it looks ok and move into it as it is. You've priced it as you did because of the work you want to do to it. Most people would pay the sticker price because it's perfectly habitable and they don't want to do the work.
I think you need to find an utter wreck for this strategy to work myself...
