  • Are white label/promo versions fun to collect?
    An album, I'm after is for sale as a promo and I'm debating if it's interesting enough to miss the cover, artwork etc... For how I use my music, I guess not, actually.

  • I think they're fun to have if it's cheap and you've already got the stock issue... I've got a few but think I'd prefer stock for most of them... Depends if you're a crazy completist or not...

    Stock promo copies are ace, especially if they're mono!!!

    Is it in demand? Many £€¥$?

    My promo copy of Big Star's Radio City has a company gatefold jacket, press release, etc, no promo pics unfortunately but it's still fucking amazing... One of my fave things... And promo stickers are super cool!! IMVHO...

    It doesn't seem very sought after or expensive. I don't have the stock copy yet, so I think I will prioritise that first.
