My experience so far is that if all the air escapes, the tyre deforms under the loss of pressure and the seal fails. I usually end up pushing about 110 psi in, so that there's still a chance some air will still be present once I get the core back in. Just wondered if I was missing something, no biggie.
Also, why do I always end up bending my Presta cores (the bit you undo to get air in)? Am I not supposed to fully undo them?
For the record, Stan’s tubeless removable valve cores are interchangeable with Conti ones.
