came downstairs to find my Tom cat hassling a mouse which was hiding behind the kitchen door - he was salivating and the mouse seemed frozen to the spot and didn't seem very lively so assume he'd given it a few chomps. I managed to hustle it into a box and carried it outside and let it out near our shed, but it didn't seem to want to move away from the box. I checked when I left for work and it was nowhere to be seen, however one of the neighbourhood cats was lurking around the shed and seemed very keen to stay around.....
