Thanks. How does the sinewave cope with rain? Not planning to charge whilst it is raining but do the connections have some sort of cover. I know that the igaro does not have a cover.

Check their website to confirm, but it’s waterproof.

I keep it in my frame bag. Never known why people would mount an electrical device externally and open to the elements.

Even if it is in the framebag I would imagine that water could still enter. How do you avoid this?

My Igaro has been mounted externally for three years. It was a prototype though and it gets hot if it's in a bag (it was designed for touring speeds not racing).
