I rode the Ruska, 1755km, 5 weeks after TCR. I had recovered pretty well but I did feel my max power was lower than usual, didn't measure anything. While my pace was somewhat average at the beginning, it basically stayed the same for the whole ride and was good for me looking at the whole distance. On TCRs I've had different phases, like first fast, then tired, then fast again, then exhausted. At Ruska it was just level. Riding felt good and I didn't need to take breaks much, only a couple short ones a day. Though I was suitably broken after I finished, having ridden as fast as I could. I think I would have been faster in Ruska if I hadn't been in TCR before it, but the effect wasn't enormous. But Ruska was rather easy compared to these others, even with the weather.
