if i do the unthinkable and try to fill a too-flexy old HED ProAM disc with expanding foam...
...it will explode. Probably.
I have a feeling that anything which expands hard enough to provide a worthwhile structural effect will blow the sides out, unless you have a mould to fit the wheel. Building a suitable mould seems like more trouble than just buying an Aeox

So you can get @hoops to paint it

I expect he'd be keen.
^^^Props I think, nothing that modern really nails the look I'm after.

A big flying boat with props? You need a Short Sunderland. If you can live without the props, don't need it to fly very high, and want to go full Bond Villain, then a Russian Ekranoplan ground effect vehicle would be ideal.

You need a Short Sunderland.
Not easy to buy a flying one though...

AVIC are offering their AG600 to civilian buyers, which might not be the case with the Shin Maywa US-2

Easier than buying a Lun class Ekranoplan, which is what I'd want. Along with a Klein International blue suit and a Jankel armoured Hilux for the full Hubertus Bigend schtick.

Because it would be a stylish money pit? I was going to suggest a Shorts Sandringham, as I know someone who was involved with operating one in the 80s, but it looks like all the survivors are now in museums.

You’re a bit limited on handy local landing locations.

Sea level is rising, innit- I should be able to land it on what used to be that A205 in a couple of years

Mmm... damn. I was hoping it would just fill the gaps, but outward pressure. Boo.

Stuff like that gives you more control and probably goes up slower than the builders bodge stuff.

My Lezyne track pump isn't pumping very well. It gets there but not a lot happens for the first 10 strokes. Is there anything obviously wrong here?

Is there meant to be another o-ring in that groove? Tried cleaning and relubing it?
-
• #91068
That O-ring floating on the top should probably be in the grove in the middle of the piston head.
Maybe?
-
• #91069
An online Lezyne video I've found shows everything in place, although not sure what upper floating ring actually does. I think the lower ring is just worn and lost its plumpness, hence it doesn't fill the groove. Have ordered replacement ring and yes will clean and regrease as you suggest. Thanks!

Anyone able to help with some hexlox related questions?

There is a photographer who photographs groups of sub-cultures and displays them in a 4x3 grid pattern.
So it will be something like 12 punks, 4x3, all looking almost the same. Or hipsters, or say those skate guys with beber hair and a flatcap.
Any ideas?
Done it!
