I think you need come to the tubeless tyre repair workshop at Maglia rosso in Hawstead Suffolk on the 25th May. I will be showing everyone the tricks as this thread shows this is needed. The tyre can only unmount if its too loose.
If the vlave has to come out to get them to seat then you need more tape. you can tell this by how they mount.

Thanks Malcolm. I'll give another run of tape on it. I've got 18mm internal rims, will I need tape wider than this or as close to that number as possible. EDIT: I'll just get some 21mm stans for now and order some Tesa tape from eBay.
As for the workshop, sounds good! I'm in Cambridge that weekend so may be able to go.
Let air down to put sealant in through valve on my IRC RBCC and they pinged off the rim. Can only get it to seat when taking the valve out and inflating using airshot.
Think an extra layer of rim tape will fix that but are there any other tips bar soapy water?
