  • I’m after some advice for our first micro adventure, probably Sunday and Monday.
We’d like to get out of London by train and do about 50km each day (bad knee must heal before thinking about going further).

There are some cool AirBnb around, kind of tents, huts and the like. We would probably do something like this since we don’t have camping gear.

Looking at a map, so many options... bonus points for coastal rides.

    Thanks for tips :)

  • How about doing a bit for Salisbury? You can hit the new forest,Salisbury plain and Stonehenge over 2 days. Train from Waterloo and I bet you’d get a great welcome...
Another option would be Weymouth or Dorchester. The rides around studland are awesome. You’ve Corfe Castle and great rides to lulworth cove. Not easy on the knees though.

  • Take the train to Windsor and ride to Salisbury. It's about 120km, mostly rolling until you get closer in. I stayed at an air BnB there earlier this month. It's a great destination. Easy to spilt into a 2 day ride if you want. I can send you a route if you want.
