I suppose you cold make an extra thick and strong p-clip and put it facing forward

Good suggestion. I’ve had a Blackburn outpost mounted on the mudguard mount alongside the mudguard. It’s just a faff taking it on and off and I’ve now got GBs and want to leave them alone, if possible
