  • That is banging.

  • Wow, really makes me want one now . Size large please if anyone has got one

  • Too small for grownups!

  • Any small pompetamines going? Seems like the only other real SS disc options are day one or nature boy? But I'm only really looking for a cheap frame, ideally 200 notes or under.

I'd like to get back to riding ss more but I'd prefer to have discs.

  • Octane one kode, crc have them.

  • That's a great shout and would be ideal, all the mounts etc, if it wasn't for the fact I ride small frames and their idea of a small is most people's idea of a medium, 55cm TT on a small!? :(

  • I recently bougth one, pretty happy so far

  • Check stack and reach,my medium fits smaller than my previus pre cursa.

  • Yeh I have done, I'm a trex unfortunately and even on a frame with 375 reach already run an 80 stem. I'd be looking in the 70-75 range on something with 380 reach which is getting a bit daft on a 'road' bike.

  • Uh,sorry then.guess the best option is a 2nd hand frame

  • I ordered a small due to normally riding a 55cm TT and the 13,5cm headtube length of my current large pompino (Vs 11,5 on the small kode) being too long (not enough scoblebricks). I also factored in the extra stack of the 410mm a-c fork. And the extra stack of the CK headset.
Will be run with risers as city bomber.
71,5degree headtube is bugging me a bit though..

  • I happen to also have a 54cm pre cursa. What size is yours?

  • 54 too,but it was(now it's cracked)a little to long.

  • I did genuinely wonder about the possibility of having ss disc tabs tagged onto a Langster and adding a disc fork. I’m guessing it would be a trivial job for a frame builder. I’m not sure if that’s an insane idea or not.

For all their newbie commuter wobbler credentials Langsters are solid frames, light & stiff enough and good geo, and can be picked up for buttons.

  • So now On One is not making the pompino any more, and they stopped making the pompetamine a long time ago. Is this the end?

  • Only the beginning, my friend

  • amazing, slack chain and lack of DBAD sticker makes me sad

  • amey, you're a good guy but DBAD and the "humour" that surrounds it are a blot on the English landscape.

Slack chain - fair enough yeah I'll take that. Not gonna do anything about it though. Perfection is a sin.

  • Have you considered a bike fit?

  • hmm now you got me thinking I should've gotten the medium kode.
Ahhhh well, when it arrives I'll mockup and see.
Crc free returns within 365days gives me some pondering time..

  • The medium is 1 cm lower and about 1cm shorter,it was the closest to my 54..it's a nice frame if you consider the price, welding and finish is good.only the paint is thin and the decals are just stickers, but I dont mind since the frame is sound.

  • I am not English!
