I think he means adapter as in a gizmo that allows swapping one standard for another, rather than a designed in part of the system like with FM front.
But yeah FM front could be better.

Yes m8 I do, and no that's not what I was saying. Also the point about no drop bars and no flat mount brakes in polo is bang on, and if it wasn't this whole thing wouldn't be a problem as @ExTra would probably use the same brake without needing to ask these questions.

Or making a decision based on what they want and what may well be better in the future, this being a custom frame that'll likely outlast any parts on it. Whatever the reason for the decision it doesn't really matter, they've asked a specific question and have already said they don't want adaptors, unless it was impossible or really stupid to not use adaptors, then the answers shouldn't really be about them.
