Where did you get access to en14781?
From the Bulgarian government, who have this quaint notion that people who are bound by laws should have free access to the text of those laws.

Driving to the polling station in your v12 30L wagon to vote Green?
As it's a three minute walk away? Yes, absolutely. I'll leave it idling at the curb when I go in.

I've inherited this abandoned trailer thing. What is it? It's got a little wheel at the front and a big tube (presumably to connect to the back of a bicycle?)
But it also has a brake lever on the bar at the back. What's that for?

What is it?
A convertible stroller/trailer. The brake is for stroller mode.

The brake lever is obviously because it can double as a pram.

Snap. Or as a 'stroller', indeed.
-
• #91034
Brake lever is for the brake when you're using it in pushchair mode. I.e. not attached to a bike. Going downhill with two bairns they can get heavy.

Triple answer. Comprehensive.

Pram, stroller, or pushchair mode. :)

So to be clear, it's a convertible pram/trailer. :) thanks all

Buying a pair of wheels were the rear is on Hope 4 trial hubs. This has a freehub with room for a 6 spd casette as I understand it. Are there any better ideas than DA 7400 derailleur and bar end/Gevenalle friction shifter if I want to use this with gears?
Thx

Chop down an 10/11spd cassette and use the system of your choice with limit screws.

Does it work? Can't imagine these are cheap. Good find, if you have a small human or a dogue

Stolen/abandoned I think as it's been sat on wasteland for over a week. Bit rusty. The fabric was filthy and rotted away in places. I've cut all that out and at some point will do it up
-
• #91042
You could just strip it back and have a flatbed style trailer with a handle for wheeling when off the bike.

Yes, that's the general plan. I make a lot of plans though.

Anyone make any custom electric stuff here? Or know someone that does? I have two devices (audio mixer-recorder and power distributor) I'd like made and wonder how to go about getting them designed and built. The 'parts' already exist but I want them put into a specific case/form-factor and presume a custom job is a possibility somewhere?

anyone have a small PA / basic DJ set up?
looking for music for my wife's 50th which will be at the local cricket club in July, and feature mainly cheesy disco and annoying 80s "classics". So no Thunder Ridge, bass bins etc required for this one.
Happy to pay the going rate.
thanks!
Edit: In Walthamstow

@mdcc_tester et al, if i do the unthinkable and try to fill a too-flexy old HED ProAM disc with expanding foam, is there an OTC option?
Weight is less of an issue than structural.

Why do I want a seaplane?
Because you haven't really thought it through. Get an amphibian, much more practical.

Hasn't that been superseded by BS EN ISO 4210-1-2014
