Ultra-cheap saddle that isn't:
- fake Fizik or something (increased chance of theft - I want no-name brands)
- made out of an extraordinary amount of padding
- likely to sodomise me?
Someone posted this one in the past, I like the sound of no egg hurts
Edit: forgot to mention, I want all black as best as possible. Am I better off looking for something on eBay?

Not "orient express", but a lot of people get on with a Charge Spoon which could be had for around £20 when I last looked.

Haha, too rich for my tastes! I'm aiming at the £5-10 price range, where you're basically getting the item for free factoring in the postage

You can get some of the specialized copies unbranded. I have a romin copy unbranded I like
-
• #6858
Something like this? Looks alright
Hopefully it too will prevent any egg hurts
-
• #6859
yeah but ask if it comes with branding, some sellers dont show pics with branding but they'll have branding on them when they turn up. The one I ordered had an option for no branding.

Also has anyone ordered a tritone copy? €15- €20 for one sounds alright.

Are you sure you're in the right position if you're bollocks are hurting to this degree?

Does anyone have experience with this frame?
It seems like a decent aero road frame for the money. Does it look like an open mould, or a rip-off of a genuine manufacturers frame?

Ha, no, I was just joking. Actually the opposite, I seem to get on fine with most saddles (no egg hurts) as long as I'm doing distances under 100km or so

also just contacted them for a wheelbuild quote too

Well with yourself @noBlakes and possibly @velohobbit we AB split the shipping cost and if we stun with the import tax, which we usually do with this company then we can spilt it equally.
Shipping is $50 (I think from memory) and import tax can range from £60-80 depending on the order tbh.

The guys at Lightbicycle offer a pre-pay on the Imports, with a package this big, it'll probably get brought up so might be worth looking at, as we'll then avoid a £25 processing fee?

ok cool, I haven't decided yet whether I can afford carbon rims but will do in the next few days.
-
• #6869
Oh, that would be brilliant if that would be true!
-
• #6870
Cool, I'll message everyone on the weekend and I'll probably place the order in on Sunday/Monday.

So I asked for a quote on a 29er wheelset and they sent this back at the bottom about shipping:
The delivery cost is USD78 for one wheelset to UK by EMS.
There is another delivery named TPD. It is tax and VAT prepaid. The delivery cost will be USD150 by TPD, you will not have to pay tax or VAT through TPD delivery.
Which do you prefer? -

Excellent, I will be getting some rims for track wheelset and road bike rebuild. If three of us order then we can split the delivery fee easily =)

Anyone seen any clones of Quad Lock mobile phone mounts on AliExpress?
-
• #6874
I have San Marco Aspide copy and I'm happy with it. But I ride hard saddles like SLR, so maybe not for everyone.
Carbon rails mind, weights nothing -

Found one literally in a bin, I'm sorted
Has anyone who's bought a 15mm thru axle from China have the nut that came with it going spare? I've ordered one from China but if possible would like it before June.
