Post mount works fine, is readily available, proven reliability and yeah IMO other than keeping up with the latest trend I see no need for it.
Why would you spec a frame for something you know that there'll be issues i.e. leaky caliper and then try to fix that?
I'll understand if you got a flat mount frame for a song but getting something with a known issue on a custom frame, really?
