Are there any drawbacks to the Trials version of the Eno Freewheel for road riding, other than weight and cost?

Hehe. Is the Trials version louder than the standard version?

Do they both work with 1/8 chains equally well or is the Trials version better suited to 1/8?

the trials version handles both 3/32 and 1/8 chains and they are noticeably louder than the standard eno imho

Jesus, really? I have the standard one in 21t but need 18t now and I can get the 18t one for the same price as changing the outer teeth on the one I have. So I have the decision whether to go for Trials 18t or standard.

I didn't have to resort to my bell very often with the standard one...
