well it was €65 posted coming from Italy. So bought a load of soup in as thats still daft money. I know I'm a bit crazy like that, but I am a bit of a completist. Budgets pretty tight at the mo, but the panto stem was one thing I couldn't really pass on as Fanini ones are so thin on the ground. There was a black one on ebay but its more expensive and not in as good nick. I thought @PhilDAS idea of the chrome to mirror the stays was a good one up front. I should add this is the only panto indulgence on the whole build.

Cool, I took the first thing not too expensive...It seems to me that those would have been more contemporary - but for a 40 euro bike... This frame is just a support for my Gipiemme groupset.
