I got back from France on Monday night, and up the M20 almost all the other drivers, having also just got back from the continent, were observing proper lane discipline, decent speed and timely observaton. As such it was a very fast and efficient drive back to London.
Then I got to the M25. Fuck's sake there was some appalling driving. Braking from 70 to 60 for gantries that were not switched on, undertaking attempts, sitting in the middle lane, or indeed the outside one, etc. We need some more public service adverts to tell people how to drive.
And don't get me started on that guy in the Jag with cats on his lap :-D

This. I hate getting back to within orbit distance of the M25 after being outside a while.
Residing in Spain at the moment and the public broadcast ads for driving etiquette is amazing.
There's people cycling on 70+ mph roads (Stupid, but no signage to say you can't, and they're more like A roads) and people give wide berth and generally courteous all because of TV advertising.

Used the jag to go from Angel to wood green to Loughton and back, on a friday. The north circ and M11 is soooooo slow moving.
I learnt that people are fucking incapable of driving between the lines and speed cameras cause people to brake no matter the speed they are going at....i could rant further...
Driving with cats loose in the car, is quite worrying. Driving with two cats in your lap is very soothing.....Watching you cat go mental as someone cut you up...priceless and made me love them more.
