Another question - I have an AMEX card to put work expenses on, it works well for this. It's a gold charge-card, and I pay an annual fee for it.
AMEX keep nagging me to upgrade to a platinum version of the same card, for an additional £300 fee per year on top of the existing charge - personally I can't see why I'd do this, but clearly some people do. What am I missing?
