Are you also one of those that straddle the central markings and physically block drivers who are following Highway Code guidance?

I don't think so, at least I let people out and in who merge, back off if I suspect somebody wants in on the motorway, let people out of sideroad. I've no problems with turn merges etc...leave gaps at sliproads.
Just if the line is a mile long in an area with roadworks for months and somebody zooms past at 30mph to merge at the very very last moment...I get a little bit of a "queue jumping asshole" feeling...

Queue jumping arses, of you see a half a mile long queue on one lane you know very well there's something, so taking the inside lane very late just before roadworks barrier is not an innocent mistake.
And the people that let them in, DONT let them in FFS!
