15mm pipe? Try one of these https://www.screwfix.com/p/talon-15mm-snappit-10-pack/98443 with rigid plaster/filler around it. If the heat expansion is making the pipe bow up and down you could try to loosen fittings further back to allow for lateral movement.
The plaster around the radiator pipe in my bedroom is crumbling. There is also a slightly annoying clicking sound at times, which I guess is the materials moving as the temperature changes. How would you cover up the hole? With something rigid like expansion foam or plaster, or something flexible like an acrylic grout?My idea was to fill the hole with one of the above and then finish it off with a layer of plaster. But I guess plaster on top of something flexible is just going to cracks again...
