I also feel bad for the big bag tapping the van wingmirror during an ill-judged filter between it and a caravan.

I did exactly this the other day. The van driver just shrugged and said 'shit happens, could you line it up again for me please mate?'

I had an odd one years ago carrying a wheel set on my back filtering traffic forgot my wider load dinged a posh 4x4 taped on the window to say sorry give details as was my fault they just drove off giving me the v' s was quite happy with that.
