• I have thought about ripping the internals out of a LH shifter and trying to lock up the lateral lever movement somehow but it seems a hell of a bodge.

  • I believe someone on here did something with the climber's button thingies that sit on the tops (I don't know anything about Di2, leave me alone!) and single-speed levers, instead of brifters. If you're riding gravé stuff that setup would be suboptimal but probably fine. Pair up with TRP Hylex.

  • I run 1x using Shimano 105 levers, really don't notice the play in the left lever under general riding conditions, it really isn't much of a problem. Also gives you summat to play with on long flat sections when you don't need to shift or brake. If I had the coin though, I'd go SRAM, just because I like their shifters.
