Get one of the stainless steel ones, pre heat it with boiling water before putting anything you want to keep hot in it.

I want a thermos type thing that I can chuck in a messenger bag and generslly not look after very well without it getting smashed to fuck. Probably around 500ml capacity ideally. What's decent?
